Withdrawing from Stake in Tanzania: times and limits
The route, the timing and the one check that can hold a payout, in plain terms.
The route
How to get your money out
- Open Account, then Wallet, then the Withdraw tab.
- Choose the currency you want to receive.
- Enter the destination address and check it character by character.
- Enter the amount and confirm the withdrawal.
One warning matters more than any other: a crypto transaction sent to a wrong address cannot be recalled, so paste the address, never retype it, and send a small test amount before moving a large win.
Timing
How long each method takes
Crypto withdrawals are processed immediately on Stake's side; what remains is the blockchain's own confirmation time, which is minutes on fast networks. Bank-based routes are slower: up to three business days.
| Route | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Cryptocurrency | Immediate processing, then network confirmations |
| Bank transfer | Up to 3 business days |
If a withdrawal request has not been approved within three business days, contact support directly. That threshold comes from Stake's own payments guide. Do not wait longer.
Limits and checks
Limits and the KYC hold
Stake sets no maximum withdrawal limit. Each cryptocurrency carries its own minimum withdrawal amount, shown in the wallet before you confirm, and local-currency methods can carry their own limits depending on the provider.
The hold that surprises people is identity. Under Stake's terms (clause 4.8) the operator may request KYC documents at any point and restrict withdrawals until your identity is confirmed, so a large first cash-out can pause while verification completes; verifying early removes the wait. For Tanzanian players the practical route is crypto, because accounts do not hold shillings: withdraw to your own wallet, then convert through the exchange you already use for mobile money.
